WHY YOU KEEP WAKING UP

You don't have a sleep problem. You have a light problem.

You did the blackout curtains. You turned the charger around. You still surface at the same hour every morning, wide awake and furious about it — because the room never actually got dark, and the mask you bought to fix it made things worse in three separate ways.

4:41

The room is already grey

Summer light finds the gap at the edge of the curtain, and your eyelids do almost nothing to stop it. You are awake ninety minutes early, and you will not get back down.

2:10

The mask is around your neck again

A thin elastic strap and a buckle that digs in. You turned over once and it came off. You find it in the sheets in the morning.

6:55

One eye won't focus

You slept on your side, the flat mask pressed into your eye all night, and now everything is smeared for the first twenty minutes of the day.

The mask isn't the accessory. The darkness is the product.

HOW IT'S BUILT

Three problems, solved in the shape of the thing.

THE CONTOUR

Nothing touches your eyes.

Two moulded domes arch over the eye socket and hold the fabric completely off your face. You can open your eyes inside it, blink freely, and feel nothing against your lashes.

  • Safe for lash extensions
  • No pressure on the eyeball
  • No smeared vision in the morning

THE WEIGHT

Pressure where it calms. Nowhere it presses.

An evenly distributed micro-bead fill rests on the brow and cheekbone — the bony rim around the eye, never the eye itself. It is the same reason a hand over your forehead feels settling.

  • Weight carried on the orbital rim
  • No hot spots, no pinching
  • Breathable brushed microfibre
THE BAND

Still on your face at 6am.

A wide flat band spreads tension across the whole back of the head instead of concentrating it on a thin strap. There is no buckle to press into your skull when you turn over.

  • Survives rolling onto your side
  • No plastic hardware at the back
  • Adjustable 52–66 cm

THE EVIDENCE

Closing your eyes is not the same as darkness.

Eyelids are thin, translucent tissue — not blackout curtains — and the light that gets through them is enough for your body to keep treating the room as day.

~100 lux

Ordinary room light is already enough

The circadian system is far more light-sensitive than people assume. Melatonin release is suppressed by roughly half at an illuminance comparable to normal indoor lighting.

Zeitzer et al., Journal of Physiology, 2000
Eyelids

Closed eyes are translucent, not opaque

Measurements of light transmission through the closed human eyelid show a meaningful fraction still reaches the retina — and transmission is highest at the longer, redder wavelengths that dominate dawn light.

Ando & Kripke, Biological Psychiatry, 1996
1 night

The effect shows up immediately

In a controlled sleep-lab study, a single night sleeping under moderate room light rather than near-darkness measurably raised night-time heart rate and altered next-morning glucose handling in healthy adults.

Mason et al., PNAS, 2022

The research cited above concerns light exposure and sleep environments in general. It is not a claim about this product, and no study listed here tested it. BEFORE YOU BUY

The questions people actually ask.

Will it stay on if I sleep on my side?

Yes — this is the main reason it exists. The wide band spreads tension across the whole back of the head instead of concentrating it on a thin strap, and there is no buckle to press into your skull when you turn over. Because the cups are moulded, the pressure of the pillow lands on the rim of the mask rather than on your eye.

Is it safe with lash extensions?

Yes. The eye cavities are 2.5 cm deep, so the fabric never contacts your lashes at any point. This is the specific reason contoured masks are recommended over flat ones after a lash appointment.

How heavy is it? I don't like pressure on my eyes.

The weight is deliberately carried on the orbital rim — the bone around your eye socket — and never on the eye itself. The moulded cups make that structurally impossible. If you have found weighted masks uncomfortable before, it was almost certainly a flat one resting directly on the eyelid.

Does it actually block all the light?

The contoured nose panel is the part that matters. Almost all light leak on a conventional mask happens in the gap beside the bridge of the nose, which is why people still see a grey glow with a mask on. The moulded seal closes that gap.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping is free across the US and orders typically arrive within 8–14 days. We'd rather tell you that up front than promise two-day delivery and miss it.

What if it doesn't work for me?

You have 60 nights. Email us within that window and we refund the full purchase price — no restocking fee, and you don't need the original packaging. Return shipping on a change-of-mind return is paid by you; if the item is faulty or wrong, we cover it with a prepaid label.

Sixty nights to find out.

If the mornings don't change, we refund it. That is the entire risk you are taking.
