The Glacier — Ice Silk Cooling Mattress Pad Set
You've changed the sheets, the duvet and the thermostat, and you still wake up damp — because none of it touched the layer that was actually storing the heat.
Free US shipping · 60-night sleep trial · No restocking fee
Cool on contact. Woven ice silk pulls heat off instead of storing it.
Wicks, doesn't hold. Sweat moves through it rather than sitting on it.
Lays on top, straps at the corners. On in seconds, over whatever bedding you own.
Pillowcases included. One with Twin, two with Queen and King.
You keep fixing the layers on top. The heat is coming from underneath.
A mattress absorbs body heat for hours and then holds it — foam especially. Every layer you put over yourself is downstream of that. Which is why lighter bedding helps a little, and never actually solves it.
The dent you left is warm
Half an hour in and the shape of you has become a pocket of stored heat. Move a few inches and it is cool again — for about a minute.
You changed everything except this
New sheets. Lighter duvet. Thermostat down. And you are still surfacing damp, because none of it touched the layer actually holding the heat.
Memory foam's quiet trade-off
The material that contours so nicely around you is also the one that insulates you best. That is not a defect. It is just physics you were never told about.
Cool the surface you lie on, and the rest of the bed stops fighting you.
A cooling layer where it actually matters.
Ice silk, straight onto the mattress.
A smooth, densely woven ice-silk face goes directly between you and everything that stores heat. It conducts warmth away from your skin rather than insulating it back in, and the fine stripe channels keep air moving underneath you.
- Cool the moment you lie down
- Stripe channels keep air moving
- Smooth and quiet against bare skin
Lays on top. Straps at the corners.
This is a mat, not a fitted sheet. It sits flat on the mattress surface and four elastic corner straps hold it there, so it goes on in seconds over whatever bedding you already own and comes off just as fast for washing.
- No wrestling with deep pockets
- Works over your existing sheets
- Won't rumple or slide overnight
Pillowcases in the box.
Your head is where you feel heat first, so a cool mattress and a warm pillow is half a solution. Matching ice-silk pillowcases are included — one with Twin, two with Queen and King.
- Same fabric, same cooling
- Slip-on, fits standard pillows
- Whole sleep surface, not part of it
Fix the mattress, not the sheet.
The bed stops giving your heat back, because the mattress was the thing storing it.

Cool to the touch is physics, not marketing.
The sensation is real and it has a plain explanation. But it is a property of a fabric, not a refrigeration device — it manages the heat between you and the mattress, and nothing beyond that.
Falling asleep is a cooling process
Core body temperature drops by roughly a degree as you fall asleep, and that heat has to leave through your skin. A mattress that stores it and radiates it back is working against the mechanism.
Kräuchi & Wirz-Justice, on human thermoregulation and sleep onsetWhy a surface feels cold
A material feels cool because it draws heat off your skin faster than your body replaces it. Smooth, dense, conductive fibres do that well. Foam and brushed cotton are built to do the opposite.
Standard textile thermal-contact behaviourWe do not publish a Q-max figure for this mat because we have not commissioned independent testing on it, and we will not quote a number measured on someone else's fabric. The heat is coming from underneath you.
A cooling sheet sits on the wrong side of the problem. A foam topper fixes the temperature and changes the feel of a mattress you probably chose on purpose.

The questions people actually ask.
Is this a fitted sheet?
No, and this is the most important thing to understand before ordering. It is a flat mat that lays on top of the mattress and is held by four elastic corner straps. It does not have a deep elasticated skirt and does not wrap around the sides of the mattress — it sits on the sleeping surface, slightly inset from the edges.
Which size should I order?
Go by the mat dimensions, not by the name. Twin is a 35" x 79" mat and suits a Twin or Twin XL. Queen is 59" x 79" and suits a Full or Queen. King is 71" x 79" and suits a Queen or King — on a full 76"-wide King it sits a couple of inches inside each edge, which is normal for a lay-on-top mat.
Does it go over or under my sheet?
Over. It is the surface you actually lie on, so putting a sheet on top of it would defeat the point. Most people use it directly over their existing fitted sheet.
How many pillowcases come with it?
Twin is a 2-piece set: the mat plus one pillowcase. Queen and King are 3-piece: the mat plus two pillowcases. They are slip-on covers in the same ice-silk fabric and fit standard pillows.
Will it make my memory foam mattress feel different?
Barely. It is thin, so it changes the surface temperature without changing the contour or firmness you chose the mattress for. That is the main reason people pick this over a cooling foam topper.
How long does shipping take, and what if I don't like it?
Shipping is free across the US and orders typically arrive within 8–14 days. You then have 60 nights — email us inside that window and we refund the full purchase price, no restocking fee. Return shipping on a change-of-mind return is paid by you; if the item is faulty or wrong, we cover it with a prepaid label.
